Privacy policy

This Privacy Policy specifies the methods of protecting the personal data of Users using the website located at www.thegaps.pl, hereinafter referred to as “THE GAPS”. The privacy policy applies regardless of whether you access THE GAPS website from a computer, mobile phone, tablet, TV or other device.

Failure to accept the Privacy Policy is tantamount to the inability to use this website. The privacy protection principles presented in the Privacy Policy apply only to websites located in the thegaps.pl domain. THE GAPS is not responsible for the privacy policies of websites of other institutions to which references (links) can be found on this website. Data regarding website users:

The privacy and data security of THE GAPS website users are our priority. We want each User to be informed about what data we obtain and the extent to which they are used by us.

During each User’s visit to the website, THE GAPS servers automatically save the so-called system logs – anonymous information such as: time of visit, IP address, URL address, browser. The collected logs are stored for an indefinite period of time as auxiliary material used to administer the website. The information contained therein is not disclosed to third parties. Only the server administrator will have access to them. In addition, THE GAPS website collects anonymous data such as the number of visits, country, browser type and time of visit. The collected data is analyzed through an external supplier.

Use of cookies:

THE GAPS website uses cookies. They identify the User’s browser and improve the operation of the website. You can choose to reject cookies in your browser settings, but some website functions may not work properly. Cookies do not contain any personal data. Failure to change browser settings constitutes acceptance of the Privacy Policy.

Candidate applications (CV):

Applications (CVs) containing candidates’ personal data sent via the Career subpage are sent directly to an authorized THE GAPS employee. Access to the data may also be granted to authorized persons responsible for the operation of the website, who have been granted appropriate powers of attorney. THE GAPS informs that it does not transfer or share any collected personal data with other entities. The exception is authorized authorities, which may submit such a request to THE GAPS on the basis of relevant legal provisions.

The personal data obtained are processed in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (abbreviated as “GDPR”). CVs sent by candidates via the Career tab in connection with the ongoing recruitment process will be processed only for the purposes of the recruitment process, and after its completion (i.e. selecting and employing a person for the position sought), all documents will be deleted in accordance with the company’s internal procedure. In other cases – i.e. when a candidate sends his CV when no recruitment process is ongoing at that time – the entrusted documents will be stored for a maximum period of time. up to 12 months and then removed. THE GAPS declares that it makes every effort to protect the transmitted personal data of Users against disclosure to unauthorized persons, loss or damage.

Contact form:

The contact details obtained (e-mail address) using the Contact Form on the Contact subpage are processed solely for the purpose of responding to the message sent by the User.

Personal data voluntarily contained therein will be processed by THE GAPS based on the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

Newsletter:

Receiving THE GAPS electronic Newsletter requires only providing an e-mail address. This newsletter covers the latest information related to the product offer and industry events with THE GAPS.

Subscription to the Newsletter is possible via the “Contact” tab and is completely voluntary. It is also possible to subscribe by sending an e-mail to kontakt@thegaps.pl, expressing written willingness and consent to add the address to the mailing list. E-mail addresses added to the mailing list are used only to send a new Newsletter to a given user and are not passed on to third parties. Newsletter THE GAPS may contain links to other websites related to the subject of a given newsletter, which will be posted for the convenience and information of the User. THE GAPS is not responsible for the information posted there and therefore for the privacy policies regarding the above-mentioned websites.

Changes to the Privacy Policy:

THE GAPS reserves the right to change the above Privacy Policy by publishing a new Privacy Policy on this subpage.
